Smart has historically been serving up one great marketing campaign after another, and we are looking back at two of their finest. Their marketing team is quite fond of self deprecating content, and it has been a great formula for success. Volkswagen championed this in the past with their Beetle ads, and Smart, which is yet another small car, has been nailing the same concept as well.
In this ad, The Smart Electric car pitches itself against a Ford Mustang, an Audi and a Porsche and continuously loses races against them. But why? Here goes!
In another instalment, we see the Smart car struggling in various terrains. It struggles while traversing muddy roads, drives into swamps, cannot drive uphill, but then comes the winning shot.
