Here Are The Best Father’s Day Campaigns of 2019

Topicals like Father’s Day really brings out the best from creative agencies, and gives brands a chance to create conversations with their audience and connect with them on an emotional level. This year’s rollout of campaigns for Father’s Day was perhaps as diverse as we have ever seen over the years. From brands going down memory lane, reminiscing how our childhood was with our fathers, to showcasing today’s relationship between a father and a son from the father’s point of view. This year’s campaigns were thus definitely one of the most unique in the themes that they covered.

Here’s our shortlist of the campaigns that won Father’s Day in 2019, and are a must watch

1. Dalmia Cement

Dalmia Cement’s endearing Father’s Day campaign takes you back in time as it beautifully unfolds a story of a son narrating memories of his father and recalling his childhood experiences. #GharEkSandook

2. Amazon

This Father’s Day, Amazon urges you to #DeliverTheLove, by appreciating how your father has been a pillar of support for you, since forever. From making funny faces to entertain us, to allowing us to put make up on him. From teaching us how to ride a bicycle, to holding us during our first swim, everything that he has done for us, he has done it with a whole lot of love! Amazon’s Father’s Day campaign video captures these moments and much more in a simple yet beautiful way.

3. Keventers

Fathers and sons share a unique bond, in which so many things are left unsaid. This Father’s Day, Keventers decided to #ShakeUpTheBond between them and give their relationship a fun twist! Check out how this particular father and son become partners-in-crime, over a bottle of Keventers Milkshake.

4. Liberty Shoes

Liberty’s crisply executed Father’s Day campaign drives home a very strong message about today’s relationship between a father and his children. It is a timely reminder to all of us to always be there for him, just like he has always been there for us.

5. Brands were also quick to roll out interesting creatives. Zomato has always been a mainstay when it comes to making topicals interesting from a marketing point of view, and they were on top of it yet again. Durex and Protinex too gave their own brand twists to the day, and make it to our list.
