This Dreamy Outdoor Theatre Lets You Watch Movies From A Boat

If you thought drive-ins were cool, ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs has partnered with Openaire to bring a float-in cinema to Regent’s Canal in London.

Somewhat like drive-ins, but only cooler – guests will hop onto boats that can accommodate up to eight people, steer it around for 45 minutes while enjoying the summer breeze prior floating in before the screen for the movie.

What’s a movie without snacks, right? Guests will also be able to order their favourite flavours of Häagen-Dazs ice cream along with a selection of food and drinks that will be delivered straight to their boats.

The movies will be screened on a large LED display and high quality audio will be supplied via sanitised wireless headphones.

The line-up includes cult classics, rom-coms and musicals such as Pulp Fiction, Notting Hill, The Wolf Of Wall Street, Bohemian Rhapsody, Mamma-Mia and more.

While Regent’s Canal doesn’t have any sharks, we still wouldn’t recommend watching Jaws on the water.
