This Children’s Day, Play For A Better World For Children

A lot has changed since the pandemic first hit the world last year. Over 1.2 lacs children lost their parents in India due to the COVID-19 virus while many orphanages struggled to get by with donations drying up.

On the other hand, with most people spending time at home with not much to do, gaming quickly emerged as one of the most popular activities during the lockdown. According to reports, India’s gaming market recorded as many as 365 million users for the year 2020.

As a brand that believes in ‘A Better Life, A Better World’, Panasonic India used this insight to harness the power of play for social good via technology this Children’s Day.

The campaign aptly titled #PlayForABetterWorld, uses two key takeaways from 2020 and 2021, to create an exciting gaming-led experience wherein players donate their ‘game play’ in support of children in need.

The brand has developed Panasonic Building Blocks, with the aim to reach the collective goal of 1 Million points. On achieving this goal, Panasonic’s entire range of appliances will be donated to create a better life for the kids of KHUSHII, Salaam Baalak Trust and SOS Children’s Village India.

The nostalgic game is available for anyone and everyone who wishes to play for a good cause on a microsite and is being promoted on the brand’s social media handles.

With this unique campaign, Panasonic gives people a chance to contribute to a noble cause while doing something fun.
