One of the most beautiful things in the world is to see the sparkle of an ambitious dream in a young girl’s eye. What’s even more beautiful is to make that young dream come true, and to make every little wish of a young girl count. In MG’s video titled ‘Khwaishein’, we are introduced to Kavya, Anjali, Jhilmil, Zainab and Ganga. The only wish these young girls have is the dream to study, to learn and to be the person they want to be. Through their thoughtful “Worth Waiting For” programme, in association with IIMPACT, the brand is making large strides towards making these young dreams come true.
In the beautifully narrated video, we see young girls giving in to myths on how their wishes can come true, until the day books and teachers finally arrive in their village. Check it out :
The “Worth Waiting For” programme is a rather interesting one. When buying a car, customers often have to wait for a certain period of time before the car is available and can be delivered to them. Through their initiative, MG is making this waiting period a lot more worthwhile for the customers. For every two weeks of wait borne by HECTOR consumers, MG will contribute towards the education of one girl child in India. This unique initiative enables those who have booked the MG HECTOR to be part of a social cause, while they wait for their scheduled vehicle delivery.
This contribution is in addition to to the brand’s initiative of sponsoring the education of one girl child for every HECTOR sold in India. It’s indeed a heart-warming initiative, where customers can make a difference themselves and help in transforming communities.
