Amazon’s ‘Great Indian Festival’ has always been big, but if the #AmazonFestiveYatra is anything to go by, this year the brand has taken it a notch higher.
To flag off the Great Indian Festival, Amazon launched the #AmazonFestiveYatra, with a first of its kind ‘House-on-Wheels’ showcasing the best of India in one place. This innovative house is constructed on top of 3 special trucks, as it travels through the expanse of our country covering 13 cities and 6,000 kms during the upcoming festive season. The trucks or the house-on-wheels will allow Indians in different corners of the country to be part of this exciting journey as they get a flavourful taste of India.
What really sets this yatra apart is the fact that it is a larger than life celebration of India. It brings together products from the lesser known start-ups and artisans from hidden corners of the country to ensure the curation of products is truly Indian!
During the this journey, customers will get to check unique selection of products available on Amazon.in from their own states and also the rest of India, offered by small business, Karigars and emerging brands. From Chandigarh’s Phulkari to Gond Art from Madhya Pradesh, Pithora paintings from tribal communities of India to health food like Yogabar from India’s startups, #AmazonFestiveYatra brings alive India’s choicest flavors and the spirit of entrepreneurship.
#AmazonFestiveYatra began in Delhi and will end in Bengaluru. Through this journey, the brand will engage with its customers and sellers in Agra, Chennai, Indore, Kolkata, Kochi, Mathura, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam, to gain a better understanding of their customers needs and wants.
This road show promises to give India a sneak-peek into the products available on Amazon this festive season. From home decor, kitchen products and festive items to electronics like air conditioners and mobile phones, this house-on-wheels will house a lot more than you can imagine.
We will leave you with a little sneak-peek, as we go prepare our shopping list!
