Spice Girls’ Hit Song ‘Wannabe’ Is Now Being Used In A Campaign For Women Rights

Two decades after the Spice Girls shot to popularity with their hit song ‘Wannabe’, the anthem has now come back as a campaign to fight for women’s rights.

The Global Goals has rolled out this campaign titled #WhatIReallyReallyWant, which showcases what women really, really want today. It highlights issues like violence against women, underage marriage and equal pay for equal work.

But the highlight of the campaign is that the video asks “What do you really really want?” and encourages viewers to share and make the noise to get the message to our world leaders. Yes, the charity is doing exactly that. They are taking these reactions collected on social media and are ensuring that it reaches world leaders at the UN summit. Check it out!
